UK Victoria £5 orange hinged mint SG137 white paper believed to be with Specimen removed and regummed
This stamp is in very good condition lovely centred example with LL AF letters.There is a light smudging accross the front suggesting that the word specimen has been removed.The gum at the back shows 2 small finger print marks which suggests this stamp was regummedto upgrade it from a £ 4500 stamp to a £ 14000 stamp. There may be a tiny tear at the bottom middle althoughI am unsure of this, certainly not visible from the front.
As far as rare stamps like this are concerned certainly a beautiful spacefiller starting at a stupid price.3 day auction only Black Friday bargain.
